Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting of both long-term and short-term contracts related to manufacturing, software, and services with customers. You will review revenue transactions to ensure they comply with revenue recognition rules, and coordinate with business teams to gather the necessary supporting documentation.You'll deliver timely and accurate monthly financial results, along with insightful analysis. This includes the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly inter company transactions, the oversight of any unusual transactions, as well as reporting provided to help senior management understand the underlying business drivers.
You will business parter with the Project Management team, monitor and report on project financials.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/ACCA Qualified with experience in Revenue Recognition and experienced in Long Term Project Accounting. You'll have a strong technical UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS knowledge. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with a proven record of successful collaboration with team members and stakeholders.Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task in complex and dynamic environments. Experience working at a global company in a SOX compliant environment is preferred.
What you'll get in return
