Accounts Payable Clerk

About the Role:

I am seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join my clients finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Accounts Payable team, supporting the processing of purchase invoices and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Processing Purchase Orders: Handle approximately 2,000+ purchase orders per month.
2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance and Accounts Payable team to provide support.
3. Issue Resolution: Ensure timely and efficient resolution of issues and disputes related to purchase orders.
4. Professional Correspondence: Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders professionally, process correspondence promptly, and escalate issues when necessary.
5. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the business.

About You:

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
