The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted-graded ‘Good’ High School in Hackney, London to recruit a dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a permanent position. The Role:
- Teaching RE across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Designing and delivering thought-provoking lessons that inspire curiosity and critical reflection on religious and ethical topics
- Supporting students in their GCSE and A-Level studies, preparing them for exams with targeted interventions and support
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum resources and extracurricular activities
- Fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment that encourages student engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have a passion for teaching Religious Education and experience teaching across Key Stages 3-5
- Be able to create engaging, student-centered lessons that challenge and inspire learners
- Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive, supportive learning atmosphere
- Be committed to professional development and contributing to the school community
- A supportive and collaborative leadership team focused on staff well-being and development
