Mechanical Fitter

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours day shift

We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality catering and packaging equipment, serving packaging and catering Companies across the UK and beyond. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team and help maintain our reputation for delivering top-tier products.

• Assembly, installation, and maintenance of commercial catering equipment.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues in equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve any design or manufacturing issues.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally within the catering/Packaging equipment or a similar industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a range of tools and machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are advantageous.
