Healthcare Assistant – Complex Needs Residential Service

Our client is a leading care provider in the South West, delivering high-quality residential and community-based support services to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. They are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join their specialist residential service in Castle Cary, Somerset.

The Role

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. This is a days-only role with a mixture of early and late shifts:

Early Shift: 7:30am – 2:00pm

Late Shift: 2:30pm – 10:00pm

Salary & Benefits

£27,700 - £28,700 per annum
Permanent, full-time contract

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within social care, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex behaviours
The flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and evenings until 10pm
Resilience and confidence working in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment
A clear DBS check and satisfactory employment references
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
