The Role and Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Project Engineer to join our accredited Graduate Programme, to be based in our Aberdeen HQ. You will be part of a Graduate Training Programme that has been developed in line with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), to mentor the next generation of chartered and incorporated engineers.
In the time that you are part of our Graduate Programme, we will give you all the support you need to achieve Incorporated status and/or Chartered status. Our more experienced engineers will fully support and mentor you as you work through the incorporated and chartered engineer process.

You will be exposed to several different training methods including industry awareness courses. Day to day you will help manage operations and maintenance projects within our lifting business line.

You might be tackling projects across oil & gas, renewables, nuclear, industrial and assisting with offshore or site surveys to acquire input data or providing innovative designs to solve client needs. The possibilities are incredibly varied.

The Requirements

Have you recently graduated or soon to be graduating in the next few months with a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject? This might be just the role for you.

We are looking for self-motivated, and driven individuals who can apply their current learning to a practical working environment. You will be on course to achieving or already hold a BEng or MEng qualification in Mechanical, Structural, Hydraulic, or related areas.

You will have a keen eye for problem solving, like working on complex projects and work well within a multidisciplinary team.
