Housing Support Worker (Temp to Perm)
Location: CoventryPay Rate: £18 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join a supportive and well-established service working with adults, including individuals recently released from probation services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in housing, substance misuse, or employability support who is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals move towards independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 housing-related support to service users
- Develop and manage support plans tailored to individual needs
- Carry out health & safety and property checks
- Support clients with budgeting and financial management
- Conduct risk assessments and manage medium-risk cases
- Assist with benefits, tenancy sustainment, and life skills
- Experience in housing support, substance misuse, or employability services
- Comfortable working with medium-risk clients, including ex-offenders
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
- Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive pay rate of £18ph (Umbrella)
- Full-time, stable hours (Monday-Friday)
- Opportunity to move into a permanent position after 12 weeks
