About Valencia

Valencia has evolved from a change of ownership from the Landfill and Powergen portfolio previously known as Viridor Waste Management. We are now the largest privately owned Landfill and Landfill Gas (Powergen) generating business in the UK.

We are committed to become a strategic leader in the landfill and renewable energy sector.
Our expertise is Landfill and Powergen Renewable Energy.

Our aims are to actively develop and invest in Landfill and Powergen operations to grow and deliver exciting opportunities in the energy space such as wind and solar power. We are committed to deliver ongoing restoration obligations whilst exploring development opportunities across our land holdings and beyond.

We have a strong national base of operations, with sites spread across the UK, all smartly and remotely optimised by a state-of-the-art control centre in Oxfordshire with a clear strategy to continue to deploy new technologies as a market leader.

We are quickly transforming into a dynamic, fast paced business with a real desire for growth to achieve long term sustainable operations.

We have a fantastic opening for a Environmental Technician

  • Providing routine and non-routine water management, leachate management and maintenance services on our Aftercare Sites
  • To ensure that delivery of these services are in line with business priorities, best practice and within agreed timescales and budgets

  • COTC Qualification preferred
