To ensure precise alignment between indirect tax compliance requirements, system configurations, and operational processes, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of tax compliance and supporting corporate strategic initiatives.

• Defining indirect tax compliance system requirements globally and ensuring that system implementations will meet those requirements
• Verifying indirect tax compliance processes
• Driving the implementation of new systems and tools for indirect tax compliance
• Working with stakeholders throughout Amazon including Accounting, FinTech, AP, AR to ensure indirect tax compliance system requirements can be met
• Create and maintain comprehensive audit trails documenting requirements implementation - 10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
• Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department- 3+ years of maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex) experience
• Experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or other database language
