Assist Resourcing is currently recruiting Machine Operatives to work for our client who is currently based in Wigan, who is a leading supplier of paper products. In March 2025 a new site will open in Bolton and you must be able to travel to this site to work.
Previous experience in a role like this is preferable.
Hours of Work as a Machine Operative:This opportunity requires working Monday to Friday across a selection of shift times:
- Monday to Thursday working
- 07:00 - 16:40
- Friday
- 08:00 - 12:00
Working on a production line you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and running various machines (including FLT's and Clamp Trucks)
- Maintaining machines
- Ensuring papework is completed in full and on time
- Use of handheld tools
- Completion of safety inspection sheets
- Adhering to health & safety requirements at all times
- Weekly Pay (Friday)
- On-the-job training
- Onsite Canteen
- FREE onsite parking
- Use of vending machines
- Lockers provided
- Support from the Assist Team
- Temporary to Permanent Opportunities after 12 weeks
