Personal Care Assistant – DP/MK06
Location: Great Sankey, Warrington, CheshireRate of Pay: £12.00 per hour
Hours: 3 hours per week (flexible, preferably weekends or early weekdays)
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide both practical and personal support for a disabled child. This role is designed to promote independence while also assisting with social and leisure activities at home and within the community.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of independent living skills
- Provide assistance with personal care, including dressing and toileting
- Escort and accompany the individual to events and outings
- Facilitate participation in social and leisure activities, such as arts, crafts, and dancing
- Experience and awareness of working with individuals with epilepsy (essential)
- Non-smoker (essential)
- Must own a vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license (business insurance required)
- A probationary period will apply
- The successful candidate must undergo (free of charge) an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check,
- Working hours and schedule will be discussed at the interview stage
