Apprentice Therapeutic Radiographer

To support the service to provide patient centre care for patients of the Dorset Cancer Centre To work within the Radiotherapy department under the Radiotherapy Radiographer Apprenticeship programme. Work under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner To participate in all shifts in the department.
Attend mandatory training and updates, according to Trust policy Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Apprentices will be workplace based for four days (30 hours) per week and 1 day (7.5 hours) will be protected study time either locally or at the associated Higher Education Institution (HEI).
Attendance of training at the associated HEI is essential and annual leave must be arranged outside these sessions. The post holder will fulfil all tasks and work as part of a team responsible for providing an efficient service in the Radiotherapy Department.
