Engineering/Construction Technician
Strode College has a rare and exciting opportunity for an Engineering/Construction Technician
The role will include working 1-to-1 with students alongside the tutors during practical sessions, as well as ordering and preparing materials, maintaining equipment and work areas, and assisting in demonstrations. It will also involve providing workshop support to teachers, students, and apprentices to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.Completing and updating Health & Safety Risk Assessments and records
You will need to be organised and ideally have experience of working in the engineering industry with manual machines and tools (lathes, mills etc.), and have an understanding and awareness of welding. Contractual Details
Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,086 - £23,446 per annum.Working Time: 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Pension: LGPS
Leave entitlement: 29 days per year plus bank holidays and additional discretionary leave at Christmas.
