A Part-time Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family in Merton, London to help them in keeping their home clean and well-maintained. The role includes all general housekeeping duties, with a focus on providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Tidying the children’s bedrooms and play areas
Managing the children’s laundry, including washing clothes
Preparing and providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
dusting and mopping the floors
doing the laundry and ironing
polishing the furniture
cleaning the windows
organising and maintaining their wardrobes
running errands such as grocery shopping
cook and prepare meals and snacks for the children
dry cleaning
weekly deep cleans of the kitchen and bathrooms
unloading and loading the dishwasher
Salary: £16 to £19 gross per hour
While no prior childcare experience is required, being child-friendly is essential for this role as they have two school-aged children. The family has two hypoallergenic cats and may welcome a dog soon, so being pet-friendly is a must. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must for this role.
Working hours: 3 days a week, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday, approximately 24 hours per week. The family can offer a few extra hours for the right candidate.
