Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in various settings. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to drive, and a solid understanding of IT systems to maintain care plans and documentation.

Please note you must be 21 years old and over to be considered for this role.

Duties
  • Provide direct support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Assist with the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records using IT systems, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Engage children in activities that promote their development and well-being.
  • Support children with daily living tasks, fostering independence where possible.
Experience
  • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is essential.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with children and their families.
  • A valid driving license is preferred to facilitate travel between locations.
  • Basic IT skills are required for maintaining records and documentation efficiently.
