Business Development Manager - Racking and Storage

Work will be field based, and it will include travelling to customer sites and occasional trips to Europe.

We don’t just sell forklift trucks; we provide tailored solutions to our customers and help provide a vision for their warehouses and rethink their business.We’re expanding our portfolio and stepping into the dynamic world of intelligent warehouse solutions, including the supply of Automated Guided Vehicles, Pallet Racking, Conveyors and other storage related items.
This side of our business has been successfully implemented and refined in Finland and we are now able to bring this to our UK customers. We are putting together a team of industry-leading experts to build this from the ground up in the UK. This role represents a unique and exciting opportunity within our organisation for a Business Development Manager to join this high-impact team.
This individual will work closely with both our racking manufacturer and our Sales Team, to provide expertise to strengthen our solutions-led sales strategy. They will identify and pursue new business opportunities by looking for racking and storage solutions for our customers and be responsible for driving this side of the business.
We’re looking for a proactive and driven self-starter—someone who is confident engaging directly with customers and equally capable of bringing technical expertise to enhance our sales approach.

- Have proven experience in technical drawing and warehouse solution design with the ability to create value adding solutions
- Approach solution development with a consultative, customer-focused mindset
- Possess a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges of warehousing and offer practical, value-driven alternatives
- Confidently blend technical expertise with commercial insight to guide strategic customer conversations and unlock opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities for racking and storage solutions, supporting the Logisnext UK direct sales channel.
- Client Engagement: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities—translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with your colleagues in the Logisnext Solutions team to align on goals, ensure cohesive delivery, and contribute to overall business success.
- Sales Leadership: Design and execute tailored sales strategies to meet and exceed targets within the racking and storage solutions segment.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver regular, insightful sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership, highlighting progress, KPIs, and areas for growth.
- Team Enablement: Offer ongoing support and training to the wider sales team, ensuring they are fully equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in this new and exciting offering.
