Job scope:

We are seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker for our client to join the team at their Children’s Homes in Willenhall. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality, therapeutic service to children and young people, fostering safe and nurturing relationships and supporting their emotional development.

This position involves managing shifts, providing guidance to the team, and acting as the primary point of contact for staff and children during shifts.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will ensure all documentation is accurate and uphold therapeutic practices, following the PACE model. The Senior Residential Support Worker will also support team members, report directly to the Deputy/Home Manager, and take on leadership duties, ensuring a stable, supportive environment.

Do you have?
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a team leader or shift leader role within a children’s home, plus 2 years in the residential childcare sector.
  • Valid UK driving license with a willingness to commute.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent (or actively working towards or willing to undertake).
