You'll feel at home here.To enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community, by providing flexible and individually tailored support.Rota:5 week rolling rota, working on a 4-5-6 day week patternShift times:Early: 8am-4pmLate: 2:30pm-10:30pmAll applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK by the start of employment as Look Ahead are not able to offer sponsorship.What you'll do:Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support actions and capture outcomes in Support and Risk Management files.Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodationDevelop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community especially the local mental health system to ensure that customers receive the best treatment availableLead on an area of specialism (e.g. , health and wellbeing) , build partnerships and develop internal and external opportunities for service-users in this areaEmpower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled toUndertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standardsEncourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the Housing Management teamEnsure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possibleAdhere to Look Ahead's Policies and ProceduresEngage in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skillsUndertake any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as may be reasonably assigned.Work patterns are over a 7 day shift rota (shift pattern is a mix of early shifts (8am-4pm) and late shifts (2:30pm-10:30pm) .
