Accounts Assistant

• Job Type: Full-time, 6-month Fixed Term Contract
• Annual Salary: Up to £32,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Sittingbourne for a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is integral to our finance department, covering key areas such as credit control, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and oversee the entire credit control process.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable duties.
• Ensure timely processing of all invoices.
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records and provide reports as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in managing credit control, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available to start at short notice.
