Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Grounds Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Shifts run between: Monday to Friday

Hours of work: 08:00 - 17:00

Contract: permanent

Main Responsibilities

Support and undertake routine regular PPM activities including

Building Fire prevention equipment

Emergency light testing

plant room inspections

water softener checks

legionella management outlet flushing

To work within a collaborative team to perform general maintenance duties to support the maintenance, upkeep and development of the Defence Training Estate (DTE)

Asset information surveys and data gathering on a Tablet MS Including:

Identifying equipment in buildings and plant rooms

Recording the required information, e.g. location, make, model and reporting completion of tasks

Reporting faults to Maintenance and management for follow on actions

Undertake regular inspections of camp assets

Assist other camp teams when required

To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the jobThe Ideal Candidate

Previous knowledge of Planned Preventive Maintenance activity (Desirable)

Basic understanding of fire prevention maintenance

Understanding of Health and Safety procedures

Excellent communication skills

Ability to complete documentation

Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet

Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)About The Company
