Job Description

The Private Client Solicitor will be:

• Advising clients on capital tax planning, trusts, asset protection, and succession issues.
• Drafting Wills, powers of attorney, and managing estate administration.
• Creating and altering trusts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Managing high-value estates, including those involving agricultural and business assets.
• Supervising junior team members and participating in client-facing events.
• Working closely with the Partners in the team

The Successful Applicant

The Private Client Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor with 5+ years PQE in private client law.
• Experienced in capital tax planning, trusts, and estate administration.
• STEP qualified or working towards qualification.
• Proficient in drafting wills and powers of attorney.
• Capable of managing high-value estates and supervising junior staff.
• Ties to Leeds

• An estimated salary range of £65000 - £75000 GBP per annum.
• A generous pension scheme with 5% contribution.
• 25 days holiday leave.
• The opportunity to work in a hybrid model, balancing office and home working.
• A manageable target of 1200 chargeable hours.
