An exciting opportunity has arisen at 2 of our haemodialysis units for a unit manager. We have one vacancy at UHCW and the other vacancy is at our closest satellite unit at Clay Lane Coventry.

Applicants must already have good leadership and management skills and experience within the specialty.

UHCW is a 30 station unit operating from 0700 hours until 2300 Monday to Saturday.

Clay Lanes is a 12 station unit and will shortly be operating similar hours to UHCW.

Please be advised there is an interview date of 5th November 2024.

Needs to have leadership qualities which underpin UHCW values and behaviours in everyday situations.

Also demonstrate managerial competence in everyday situations that arise.

  1. Accountable for own actions in accordance with Code of Professional Conduct. Will contribute towards corporate objectives, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies at all times.

Will support staff and users in service and policy development within a defined area/specialty.
  1. Responsible for identifying and assessing complex clinical and non-clinical issues, implementing resolutions and monitoring/auditing outcomes.
  2. Responsible for interdepartmental/organisational activities including HR; complaints; appraisal; hospital bleep-holder responsibilities on a regular basis and patient flow.
  3. Undertake highly specialised technical and/or practical skills to ensure optimum patient management including; complex patient monitoring; equipment management and administration of invasive tests/procedures.
