A Senior Fire Risk Assessor is required to join the fire safety division of a well-established engineering firm at either their Kent HQ or London offices.Working within a specialist FRA team, you will not only deliver detailed fire risk assessments but also collaborate with fire engineers and fire strategy teams on joint projects.
The Senior Fire Risk Assessors RoleThe Senior Fire Risk Assessor will work across education, commercial, and residential sectors, delivering between 1-3 fire risk assessments per week.This is a highly technical role, ideal for a Senior Fire Risk Assessor who has a solid and comprehensive knowledge of British fire standards and legislation.
Carrying out detailed fire risk assessments across a range of building types.Reviewing fire strategies, pre-occupancy and occupancy calculations.Conducting Regulation 38 reviews and construction phase FRAs.Collaborating with fire engineers and strategy teams on joint projects.Producing high-quality reports with clear recommendations for fire safety improvements.The Successful Senior Fire Risk Assessor Will HaveA recognised fire risk assessment qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, FPA, IFSM, IFE).2+ years within a similar position and business.Proven experience conducting FRAs, ideally including construction phase assessments.The ability to read and interpret fire strategies and technical drawings.Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.In Return? 45,000 - 55,000Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Introducing private healthcare in 20255% Bonus target every year on company5% Bonus based on team performanceProfessional memberships paid + CPD and further qualifications supported6 monthly reviews and potential for promotionIf youre a Fire Risk Assessor looking to grow your career, please contact Lauryn Simpson at Brandon James.
