Sports Tutor - Nottingham
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in Sports as well as experience in teaching Sports. The client is willing to consider those without a teaching or assessing qualification but has teaching experience.
The Sports Tutor will be responsible for:
- designing, planning and delivering interactive lessons to learners studying Level 2 and 3 Sports qualifications
- contributing to the course review process, curriculum development and quality assurance in line with the organisations policies and procedures
- ensuring learners documentation is correct completed to ensure eligibility for funding
- attending regular meetings with the quality team
The Sports Tutor will need to hold:
- a degree qualification in Sports however they will consider candidates with a Level 3 in Sports
- a Level 5 teaching qualification or a Level 3 teaching qualification and an assessor qualification (the client is willing to consider those without)
- previous experience in teaching Sports to learners aged between 11-16 or 16-18
In return the Sports Tutor will receive:
- An annual salary of up to £30,000
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
