We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Team Manager for our Children Social Work department. In this influential role, you will lead a team of social workers and support staff to ensure that children and families receive the highest quality of service and support.The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social work practices, particularly in child welfare, with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a collaborative and empowering environment.
Your leadership will be critical in providing guidance, training, and support to team members, enabling them to develop professionally and effectively address the needs of the families and children we serve. Additionally, you will work closely with external partners and stakeholders to promote best practices and enhance service delivery within the community.

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of social workers and support staff to deliver high-quality services to children and families.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks in all aspects of social work practice.
Provide regular supervision and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Monitor casework performance, ensuring that children’s needs are prioritized and appropriate interventions are implemented.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages input, creativity, and engagement from all staff members.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance service delivery.
Prepare and present reports on team performance, case outcomes, and service improvements to senior management.
RequirementsA qualified social worker with a recognized social work degree and valid professional registration.
Significant experience in children's social work, with a demonstrated history of management or supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and best practices in social work.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and build relationships with diverse individuals.
Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience motivating and developing staff.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex cases and make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework and promote effective partnerships.
Hours Per Week: 30.00
Start Time: 08:30End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £32.96
