Join Protective Care Group as a Support Worker and build a rewarding, long-term career that helps shape a child’s future.

We'll invest in you initially through a comprehensive induction and within your first 6 months, enrol you on a fully funded NVQ Level 3 & 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner qualification. Our commitment to your growth doesn’t end there, you’ll be set up for success with clear progression opportunities and continuous learning.

Who You’ll Work With:

You’ll support children who have complex needs, exhibit extremely challenging behaviour and have experienced significant trauma. Many have faced repeated placement breakdowns and carry deep feelings of mistrust and abandonment. These young people need more than just care, they need someone who’s consistent, calm, and truly committed.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll provide them with the day-to-day support that they need, but you’ll also be their coach, mentor, and advocate. Helping young people develop emotional regulation, rebuild trust, and gain life skills that change their future.
