Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised educational plans based on students' learning requirements
- Implement effective teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' overall development
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Education or Special Education Needs
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Prior experience working as a tutor with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of special education practises and principles
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and professionals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Special Education Needs
- Experience in creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
- Work may involve travel to different locations to meet students
- Collaborative work environment with other educators and support staff
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
