Graduate Boarding Assistant
The GBA will support and assist the Housemistress in the smooth running of the boarding house, providing a high level of pastoral care and fostering a secure and caring atmosphere within the house. Duties will include being available to boarders when on duty, supervising mealtimes and laundry duties, assisting with bedtime routines, maintaining discipline and looking after boarders’ safety and wellbeing.
GBAs are also involved in a range of other activities in the Prep School and Senior School depending on personal interests and the timetable such as assisting the PE department, running swimming sessions, providing individual support with English, support Duke of Edinburgh activities or assisting in Music, Drama etc.
Candidates will have a genuine interest in supporting girls and enabling their progress, enjoy working in a busy boarding environment and be able to bring enthusiasm and energy to the role. Hours: This is a full-time role working term-time plus three weeks during holiday periods.Salary: Actual salary £22,600 (£25,000 FTE) (Pay award pending)
