Teaching Assistant
Orley Farm School is looking for a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils on their educational journey from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 for September 2025. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, reinforcing key concepts taught in class, and helping pupils develop academic and social skills, whilst helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.You will also monitor their progress and communicate regularly with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to their education.
We are looking for someone who is patient and reliable, with strong communication skills to effectively engage with pupils, staff, and parents. A relevant qualification, such as NVQ/CACHE Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistants is essential, with some relevant experience.
The working hours for this role will be 7:45am to 4:30pm, 41.25 hours per week, term time only. The salary range is between £20,700 and £23,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
