About the Role:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team, providing essential support in schools across Bristol. This is a flexible role where you will have the opportunity to work in different educational settings, offering both variety and valuable experience.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing individual and group assistance to students, and helping to create a positive learning environment. This role is perfect for individuals who are adaptable, patient, and committed to supporting children’s educational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Supporting individual pupils or groups of pupils with their learning.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
  • Preparing and organising classroom materials and resources.
  • Supervising students during activities, break times, and transitions.
  • Assisting with any additional tasks as directed by the class teacher or school leadership.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different school environments.
  • A passion for supporting the development of children’s learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
