As an Apprentice Hairdresser, you will be trained in various aspects of Hairdressing including styling, colouring and cutting.

Working as part of a team, customer service, reception, retail, shampooing/conditioning hair and learning the skills to be our future professional in Hairdressing.

Daily duties will include:

Shampooing/Conditioning hair
Keeping the salon clean and tidy
Greeting clients
Making refreshments
Answering the telephone
Making and booking appointments
Preparing clients for further services/treatments
Laundry

In time you will also work towards:

Blow drying
Colouring hair
Cutting hair

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, committed and dedicated to beginning their career in the Hairdressing industry.

Working week: TBA

Qualifications required:

Desirable: Maths and English Grace 4/C or above, or willingness to work towards functional skills in these areas.

Desired skills and personal qualities: Good Communication

Organisational skills
Friendly
Eager to learn

The role will involve long periods of standing, therefore a good level of physical fitness and stamina is required

Apprenticeship standard: Hairdressing professional level 2
Duration of apprenticeship: 24 months
