Job description
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week.

Working in our advanced manufacturing facility, you will use your existingskills and experience within a team of manufacturing engineers working on
projects critical to protect national security.
You will use your skills and knowledge in areas such as: evaluating bespoke
products and documentation to the test standards; and writing and reviewingevaluation reports.
No two days are the same. One day you could be completing an evaluation, thenext you could be assessing material properties.
You will have hands on involvement in evaluating products for use in a widerange of scenarios from low powered devices to high voltage systems.

More About You
To apply for this role, you will already have:
- A background in product safety testing.
- A clear understanding of safety engineering and assurance principles.
- Experience and knowledge in one or more electrical safety standards e.g. BS EN 62368, BS EN 61010, BS EN 60335.
- IT skills; particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
To strengthen your application, it would be beneficial if you also have:
- Experience of safety critical function designdevelopment of electrical products.
- An understanding of different certification schemes.
- Ability to fault find down to component level.
