Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a successful candidate to join our busy patient focused team within Facilities Department, based at our Community Clinics, Rhondda Taff Ely Region. There is one position available of which will support a working routine of Monday to Friday of a total of 5 hours per week, two days per week.Another position will support 15.0 hr contract and will be managed across a five day week.
The role will support maintaining cleanliness standards across the Health Board in line with National Standards of Cleanliness for NHS Wales and support Infection prevention and control.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be allocated to a community based clinic. This team supports the housekeeping service by providing a pre-determined programme of additional cleaning activities using designated equipment and providing a rapid response to infection outbreak situations in accordance to instruction from the housekeeping supervisor and the Infection Prevention and Control team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
