ð About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of the UKs largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business, based in Newton Abbot. They are seeking a qualified MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join a thriving and friendly team in their busy Autocentre / Service Department.

As an MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician, you will carry out MOT tests, vehicle servicing, inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. Youll also support general workshop duties when not performing MOTs.

â Key Responsibilities:

Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards Class 4, 5 or 7
Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on a variety of makes and models
Support team members in general workshop tasks
Deliver high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail
Adhere to health and safety and compliance regulations

ð§ Requirements:

MOT Testing Licence current and valid
IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

accepted: City & Guilds Level 3, Level 2 with experience, Automotive qualifications - Previous experience in a main dealer, independent garage, car supermarket, or service centre

Full UK Driving Licence with fewer than 9 points
Experience working on LCVs or cars
Hybrid / EV trained is an advantage training provided if not
