Facilities Assistant | University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust
We are now recruiting to 2 Facilities Assistant positions
To work as a member of the Facilities Management Team to carry out a comprehensive range of cleaning, and portering tasks throughout , Sir Robert Peel Hospital, Tamworth. The role will included supporting the Seasonal Deep cleaning program, you may be required to support the catering patient feeding service.
Various Shifts week days and weekends included - please see attached rota
Main duties of a Facilities Assistant working at Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital are to work as part of Facilities and ward/department teams, to carry out a variety of tasks associated with cleaning, portering and patient catering.
This can be a physically challenging role so applicants must have good understanding of customer care and be able to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors
Similar work experience working in healthcare setting is desirable but not essential and therefore specific training will be given
