SEN Teacher – Temp to Perm Opportunity (Blackpool)

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity through Teaching Personnel, offering the chance to make a genuine difference in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
The Role:You will be working with students with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, and communication difficulties. The role requires a creative and adaptable approach to teaching, with a strong focus on individualised learning and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
- Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where necessary
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working within an SEN setting (preferred but not essential)
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
