About Our Client

Our client is a highly respected leader in the FMCG industry, known for their quality products and commitment to excellence. They maintain a strong presence in the market, specifically in the engineering and manufacturing sector.

• Drive positive safety culture and engagement across site.
• Develop, implement, and manage health and safety strategies and policies
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures
• Initiate and organise training of employees and executives
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
• Review existing policies and procedures
• Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases

The Successful Applicant

A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have:

• IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum
• NEBOSH General Certificate desirable, or open to training
• Experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in an Engineering & Manufacturing environment
• Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Proficient in producing reports and developing relevant policies
• Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

• An estimated salary range of £40-45K per annum
