• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures
• Engage the shop floor by coaching and developing them
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Train staff in health and safety procedures and best practices
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure health and safety standards are maintained
• Respond to and investigate health and safety incidents
• Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters
• Prepare reports on health and safety performance
• Assist in the development of health and safety strategy and objectives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have:

• IOSH (necessary)
• NEBOSH (preferable)
• Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to conduct thorough investigations and produce reports
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• The ability to work well under pressure
