Search are working with a small, family-run business in Runcorn. Our client is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit team in a standalone position over 3 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, part-time role within a supportive and welcoming environment.

• Processing purchase and sales invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements.
• Managing petty cash and handling employee expenses.
• Assisting with VAT returns and payroll preparation.
• Monitoring customer payments and chasing overdue invoices as needed.
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team.

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (e.g., Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator).
• Looking for a Part-time position
• Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A friendly and approachable personality, with a team-oriented attitude.
• Experience within a small business environment would be an advantage.

• £24,000-30,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience
• 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holidays (pro-rata)
