What skills and experience we're looking for

The Castle School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our ambitious school from September 2025. We would welcome and encourage those who are ECTs or early in their career, as well as those with more experience to contact us as this could be an excellent opportunity to start or continue your career in teaching within a good school.

This role is permanent and will initially be working as a member of the Maths department at The Castle School however you may be asked to move across to another one of our family of secondary schools within our Trust, depending on business needs.

About you

The successful candidate will be a strong and engaging practitioner, with a passion for teaching Mathematics up to A Level, to all ability ranges. You will be able to build effective relationships with both staff and students and will be a positive role model.

You will be well supported by an established team of colleagues within the department. The department currently uses the White Rose Maths scheme at KS3 (Yr 7 & 8) and Edexcel at GCSE.
