- Encourage our children to become independent learners, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life
- Be able to work collaboratively with staff and be a good team player
- Promote positive behaviour and social interactions among students, fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Assist with the physical, emotional, social development of students, offering care and encouragement.
- Help prepare and organise classrooms materials and resources.
- Accompany students on educational outings and activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, families and other staff members regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum
- Experience working with children particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities, is highly desirable.
- A patient, empathetic and positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.We can offer:
