Job brief – Business Development Executive.
Our client, OMSHIVAY LIMITED, has seen a tremendous growth in its business activities. OMSHIVAY LIMITED is an experienced RETAIL BUSINESS and has been in the field of Retail for many years. Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive to oversee all aspects of our business development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Development department, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of implementing effective business development strategies. As a Business Development Executive, you will help Business owners to help in developing the business and revenue by planning and forming the strategy on how to increase the business by contacting various existing as well as new clients.
The ideal candidate will be the point of reference for all queries, requests or issues and will be an integral part of the company’s workforce. The work may impose deadlines suddenly, demanding flexibility and reprioritisation of workload as emergency work may arise anytime.

The nature of the role is to help directors in developing the business by strategies the planning in relation to develop the business activities and gain the maximum profits in long run. Overseas candidates can apply as sponsorships may be available for the deserving candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Identify and attract local partners and suppliers to expand product offerings.
  • Generate business growth opportunities within the local community.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase customer traffic and loyalty.
  • Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and quality products.
  • Build strong relationships with the community to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Organize promotions and events to boost sales and engagement.
  • Conduct market research to understand local trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the team to introduce new products based on demand.
  • Track and analyze sales performance to refine strategies.
  • Participate in community events to raise awareness and foster relationships.
  • Support inventory management and in-store promotions to optimize sales.
  • Stay updated on retail trends and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs.

Requirements and skills

Excellent communication and networking abilities, Strong sales skills, including lead generation and closing deals, Deep understanding of market trends and customer needs, Strategic thinking for identifying growth opportunities, Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills, Proficiency in CRM software and project management, Adaptability, resilience, and maintaining high ethics.

Salary: £35000 to £39000 or depending on experience.
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom.

Working hours: A working week typically 37.5 hours, with the working day usually taking place between 10am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Flexitime is sometimes available depending on the organisation.
