About You

Supporting the Principal Colleague and Corporate Engagement Manager in developing and delivering effective and inclusive colleague engagement arrangements across the authority to ensure colleagues feel connected, are well informed on business priorities and are supported to communicate across the business.

Work collaboratively with teams across the business on all aspects of communications, marketing and engagement work – with a focus on providing expert advice on internal and corporate communications.

Work creatively to manage, develop and evaluate our communications – working in partnership with communications and digital colleagues.

About The Role
  • Assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of our internal engagement plans in line with corporate objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with those leading core corporate programmes, supporting the delivery of relevant changes to the organisation’s systems and corporate culture
  • Regularly review and update our brand writing guidelines and corporate templates
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders across the business (including Community Response) to identify and develop content for our internal communications
  • Review and evaluate performance of internal and corporate communications, making necessary evidence-based changes.
  • Write, develop and issue communications to a high editorial standard including updating website content, writing corporate briefings and reports.
  • Be proactive in researching developments in communications and bring new ideas into the team.
