What you'll be doing::

We’re excited to offer a newly created opportunity within our fast-growing legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, this is your chance to step into a high-impact, business-facing role where your work will shape the future of our organisation.You’ll advise across a wide spectrum of legal matters, build relationships with stakeholders at all levels – from sales and product to tech, operations and the Executive Team – and play a central role in navigating legal challenges across our diverse and innovative business.
You’ll also collaborate closely with key support functions including compliance, marketing, HR, and finance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partnering with the General Counsel & Company Secretary on all aspects of legal operations
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts – including customer T&Cs, supplier agreements and framework deals
- Creating and refining contract templates to improve efficiency and consistency
- Designing and rolling out policies and procedures that support compliance and smart risk-taking
- Providing proactive, practical legal advice to anticipate issues before they arise
- Supporting M&A activities, both pre- and post-acquisition
- Managing relationships with external legal counsel in a cost-effective and value-driven way
- Advising on data protection and UK GDPR compliance
- Staying ahead of legal and regulatory developments to keep our business informed and protected
- Offering legal insight wherever needed to support business success
Who You’ll Work With:
- Direct collaboration with the General Counsel & Company Secretary
- Daily interactions with cross-functional teams across the Group
- Close engagement with customers and suppliers on contractual matters
- Working alongside M&A colleagues to deliver seamless acquisition processes
- Partnering with senior leaders to plan for future legal and commercial needs
- Managing and liaising with external legal advisors as needed
- Keeping the Executive Team updated on legal and regulatory developments

We want to hear from you if you::
- Are a Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE
- Have strong commercial and contract law experience
- Have a background in either in-house roles or private practice (commercial, corporate or litigation teams welcome)
- Have experience in the tech sector is a bonus, but not required
- Have exceptional drafting ability and meticulous attention to detail
- Are a strong communicator with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely
- Are confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels, from colleagues to executives
- Have a collaborative mindset, proactive attitude, and a genuine desire to make a difference
