HGV Class 2 driver (c)
PS Ltd are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for a fast growing company in Northampton.
The shift patterns are Monday - Friday with approximately 0600 starts and an average of 9 hours days.
The job role will be a Healthcare delivery driver, delivering pharmaceuticals. Class 2 Drivers would be required to cover all vehicles such as 18T, 12T, 7.5T & vans.
Requirements of job:
Pallet deliveries to hospitals and home patientsHospital – 18T generally with exception of access restricted sites being on smaller vehicles
Delivery to location within hospitals vary from stores, pharmacy, goods in & ward level
Stock put away required at certain hospitals
MHE – pump trucks & electric powered MHE (stacker truck, electric pump truck)
Patient – 12T, 7.5T, van with exception of restricted access hospital drops
Delivery to patient address only – it is a prescription so we cannot delivery to any other alternative!
Stock taken to location within patients property at the patients choice – from the garage to the bedroom covering homes, bungalows, shared housing and flats
Stock rotation required
Handballing of stock from entrance to location within property
MHE – pump trucks, sack barrows, stair climbers
All drivers will be required to complete a basic DBS.
All drivers must have willingness to rotate – with patients being a little more ‘laborious’ we like to rotate drivers around so they all have an even and fair week
Hourly pay rate is from £17.25 to £23.13 and you will be paid weekly.
