CleckheatonThe company are a market-leading Engineering and Manufacturing Business and due to growth within the business, they require a to support their continued growth.The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams within an Electrical Department in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
Oversee that the loading on each team member contributes to the overall goal of the team.
Ensure that the booking of production hours is performed correctly.
Identify and rectify any problems which may arise.
Should this not be possible, escalate to front-line management.
Coordinate the work of the team with other departments where necessary to ensure the efficiency of your team.
Look ahead to the immediate future build requirements and ensure enough consumables and ‘Bought for Job’ parts are available from the stores.
Actively update the workshop job boards.
Be self-motivated.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Good communication, both written and oral.
The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Good organisational skills.

Organise the day-to-day duties of your team. Pulling looms, fitting lamps, lights bars etcOversee that the loading on each team member contributes to the overall goal of the team.

Key requirements of the Electrical Shift Supervisor
Relevant previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role.Be self-motivated.

Good organisational skills.
The ability to work and make decisions under pressure
