Senior Project Engineer - Exteriors

The Opportunity:
As a Senior Project Engineer specialising in exteriors, you'll be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of exterior systems for our innovative vehicle models. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure the success of our projects, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to drive innovation and excellence.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for Design for manufacture and assembly for responsible systems.
- Own the exterior systems and attribute delivery.
- Responsible for upholding the highest standards of geometry creation and GD&T.
- Report to Lead Engineers responsible for the relevant commodities.
- Prepares full project documents.
- Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials or products.
- Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full exterior systems, including some but not all of: Bumpers, Exterior Trim, Body Panels, Accessories, Mirrors, Glazing, Washer and Wiper Systems
- Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance.
- Identify and highlight any areas for continuous improvement.

- Strong and proven relevant experience required in exterior systems
- Automotive experience essential.
- A ‘can do’ attitude and are always focused on achieving great results.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders & drive towards a common goal.
