Reporting to our Deputy Cleaning Operations Manager, this is 1 of 3 posts providing service cover from 06:00 hours – 22:00 hours, 7 days week on a rota basis.
Our Cleaning Team Leader support the day-to-day management of c129 WTE Healthcare Cleaning staff and are vital to maintaining our Trust’s Cleaning and Infection Control policies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Main duties of the job- Be visible on the “shop floor”; supporting Cleaning Operations staff,
- Under the direction of our Deputy Cleaning Manager, support the delivery of the highest standard of cleaning services to patients, staff and visitors
- Play a key role in implementing the proposed new cleaning operations service model to ensure high quality cleaning services are delivered to the NHS National Standards of Cleanliness and to our Trust’s Cleaning and Infection Control policies

Person specification
Criteria
Essential criteria- Basic education to GCSE level including English and Maths qualifications
- Experience of working to deadlines and multi-tasking is essentia
- Experience of supervising and motivating teams
- NVQ3 Supervisory Management / ILM3 or equivalent qualification
