The Technical Delivery Lead role sits within our rapidly expanding Delivery team. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a highly technical, hands-on delivery leader to help drive the success of a major programme at Two Circles.
Role Profile
The Technical Delivery Lead is responsible for the end-to-end technical coordination and execution of a complex technology programme. You will work across multiple workstreams to ensure operational readiness, build and execute the go-live plan, and stitch together technical dependencies to ensure delivery is aligned and progressing.
You will work closely with solution architects, engineers, and technical leads—helping identify critical paths and unblocking progress. You are technically confident, delivery-minded, and capable of translating strategy into action.
You’ll also partner with the programmes’s Enterprise Architecture stream, ensuring strategic alignment and delivery cohesion, especially as the programme moves into its final stages.
You have strong consultancy and client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical detail clearly, manage stakeholder expectations, and build trusted relationships across client and internal teams.
Requirements
Technical Delivery- Lead the execution of the technical delivery plan, ensuring visibility and accountability across engineering workstreams
- Build and drive the go-live plan, ensuring solutions, data, and teams are ready for launch
- Coordinate operational readiness efforts internally and externally, bringing together tech, data, content, marketing and product to support launch success
- Track and manage incoming technical requests from various vendors), ensuring they are appropriately integrated across relevant workstreams such as Digital Products, DWH, MarTech etc.
- Collaborate closely with key technical workstreams (e.g. Enterprise Architecture, AI) to ensure alignment between design, implementation, and delivery
- Identify and manage critical paths, interdependencies, and risks across delivery teams
- Coordinate delivery planning activities such as delivery schedules, tracking notes, actions, and RAID logs
- Attend technical working group calls to monitor progress against technical delivery planning
- Ensure blockers are identified early, communicated clearly, and resolved quickly to keep delivery on track
- Coordinate across workstreams and testing teams to align release schedules with testing timelines, ensuring clear communication of key dates and environment constraints (e.g. avoiding Pre-Prod releases during load testing).
- Ensure visibility of monitoring and alerting across the the architecture, so potential points of failure are clearly understood and issues can be identified and resolved quickly.
- Work across cross-functional teams including product, engineering, architecture, QA, and external partners
- Translate technical complexity into clear delivery language for non-technical stakeholders
- Serve as a key delivery point of contact for technical queries, dependencies, and progress tracking
- Provide regular progress updates to the Programme team and other senior stakeholders that sit in different capabilities
- Proven experience leading complex technical programmes or projects
- Comfortable working with solution architects, lead engineers, and cross-discipline teams
- Strong technical literacy across cloud (especially Microsoft/Azure), Solution/enterprise architecture and Content driven digital experiences and supporting capabilities.
- Skilled in identifying and managing critical paths and cross-team dependencies
- Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Ability to operate in high-paced environments and bring clarity where there is ambiguity
- Experience with operational readiness, release management, or go-live planning
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet
- Experience working with or within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Familiarity with technical programmes of work and implementing delivery models required to deliver succesfully
- Background in sports, media, or tech sectors is a plus
