Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor.Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.Salary / Benefits 35k - 50k + Training + BenefitsWe are working closely with a highly successful provider of Fire Safety Services in the West Yorkshire region who are now seeking to take on a Fire Risk Assessor.
You will be attending our clients longstanding, mixed portfolio of sites including Blue-Chip clients, to carry out Fire Risk Assessments in line with relevant Health and Safety Guidelines and agreed timeframes. The successful candidate will ideally have experience carrying out Fire Door / Fire Compartmentation Surveys, but training can be provided.
" Having training in carrying out Fire Door / Fire Compartmentation Surveys would be beneficial to the role but not essential. " Able to work well independently in a fast-paced environment. " Good IT skills. " Able to communicate with colleagues and clients of all levels.
" Organising workload in line with company and client needs. The Role:" Undertaking in-depth Fire Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of longstanding client sites. " Efficiently identifying fire hazards, creating detailed and site-specific fire safety plans.
" Working closely with clients, ensuring they understand measures that need to be taken. " Using information from site to produce detailed reports, ensuring to submit them to clients in a timely manner." Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice.
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. " Being proactive in ensuring you have up to date knowledge and experience on the lates fire safety legislation and technologies. " Carrying out training and presentations when required.
" Assisting in maintaining the companies FIRAS / BAFE accreditations. " Providing support in Health and Safety consultancy provisions & site audits. Alternative Job titles: Fire risk assessor, Fire Engineer, Environmental Risk Assessor, Health and Safety Risk Assessor.Overall the successful candidate will bring their excellent technical experience working in the fire risk industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic.

" Holding the NEBOSH fire / FPA Fire Risk Assessment Competency / NEBOSH Health & Safety or other industry relevant qualification would be beneficial to the role."
