Burnley - Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Haslingden
Contract: 12-month Temporary (with potential for extension or permanent role)
Salary: Up to £23.50 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday), 8:00am - 2:00pm (Friday)
Remote Work: Option to work from home 2 days per week after initial training
Role Overview: We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer professional to work for our client in Haslingden. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical, sales, or engineering background who are looking for an office-based position within customer services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotations and process incoming orders within the UK.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and prepare quotations.
- Maintain and update the quotation database.
- Manage orders from initiation to invoicing.
- Liaise with production teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review technical drawings and provide technical guidance.
Requirements:
- Strong background in technical, sales, or engineering fields.
- Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems.
- Experience with technical drawings and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive mindset with problem-solving abilities and a knack for suggesting improvements.
- UK driving licence required.
